0 The Beautiful Island, Gili Trawangan Island in Lombok, Indonesia

Indonesian have a lot of beautiful natural potential. This time I just found one more place that you can make the choice for vacation. If in the previous article I have discussed about Bali, now I will discuss about the beauty on the island of Lombok. Just as the island of Bali, the island has attractions that make the tourists are reluctant to turn away also tend to want to stay more longer, and no less beautiful to the island of Bali. Here I will tell of a region called the island of Gili Trawangan, which is one of the island of Lombok.

Gili Trawangan Island is one of the largest island among the three Gili islands. Two other islands are called Gili Menu Island and Air Island . On the island which have a population of about 800 people, is the most widely island provides tourist facilities among the two other islands. The island is located in the northwest of Lombok, with a length of 3 km and 2 km wide. The island has its own characteristics and uniqueness. In addition you can enjoy its natural beauty, you can also do scuba diving, snorkeling (northeast coast), kayaking, fun dives, and surfing, also ride around the coast.

The island has its own characteristics and uniqueness. Although I myself lived in Indonesia, but I have never come directly enjoy its beauty. But by reading the various references, made me chuckle in awe and curious to visit it. Tourists who come to this island more than the total population. One of the uniqueness is that on the island free from pollution. Why is that? Apparently in this island there are no motorized vehicles. Transportation is a bicycle (for rent per day about 75 thousand dollars) and Cidomo (horse carriage). For transportation from one island to the 2 other islands used speedboats. The island is dubbed as the “Party Island”, because the majority of tourists who come are young. The people are very friendly still adhere to traditional customs. 

I once heard the story, that one day, there was a woman who came to the island. But her presence was rejected by local residents. Apparently the reason is quite simple, they want to maintain the security of person she was, not until later something unexpected happened if she came alone. Another thing if she came with her husband, family or relatives. This was also done for women is not regarded as a naughty woman who came to peddle satisfaction. This includes one proof that the people of the island is indeed still care and maintain its traditional oriental. Like in Bali, they also use traditional police to maintain security of their island.
